Kaley Cuoco was born in Camarillo, California on November 30th, 1985 to her parents; Gary and Layne Cuoco. Her acting career swiftly began at the age of eight months. After many of her auditions fell through as a child, she began modeling at the age of six.
She appeared on stage in a local community theatre playing roles in "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Annie". In her childhood years, she appeared in movies, such as "Virtuosity" with Denzel Washington and "Picture Perfect". Although, acting wasn't her only gift--At three years of age, she began playing tennis and nationally ranked in her teens.
In 1999, Kaley joined the cast of "Ladies Man" which introduced her to the television world. Then, in the spring of 2002, Kaley landed the role as Bridget on "8 Simple Rules", co-starring the beloved John Ritter. This was Kaley's first television series as a lead role. Once landing the role, her time was limited and she was forced to chose between her two loves; tennis and acting. Time only told which one she chose. The show had a three year run, and was a comedic success.
In her teenage years, Kaley picked up roles in films such as "Crimes of Fashion", "Farewell Bender" and "The Hollow". But those weren't her only successes, she was also in an NBC miniseries titled "10.5", and in a Lifetime orginial movie known as "To Be Fat Like Me", co-starring Caroline Rhea.
She then moved on with her career by starring in the hit WB series "Charmed", where she played a young witch trying to figure out her powers. During this time, Kaley began working on small movie titles such as "Killer Movie" and "Debating Robert Lee".
More recently, you might recognize her as Penny from "The Big Bang Theory" playing a colorful blonde who changes the lives of two nerdy scientists that live next door. The show became very successful and is currently still running on CBS. In the show's second season, her cast mate was nominated for an Emmy.
In her personal life, Kaley loves animals and has many rescue dogs, cats and horses. Kaley also enjoys to play miniature golf and has a pair of pink golf clubs. Being a previous professional tennis player, it's only natural that she would pick up on ping-pong. Her and the cast from "The Big Bang Theory" share a ping-pong table in their lunch room.
Lately, she is playing more adult roles in films such as "Cougar Club" and "Pent House". She currently resides in California.
